Lt Col Jerman
For most hip injuries, physical therapy may be recommended as a treatment or for rehabilitation after surgery. Captain Laydon, can you tell us about physical therapy for hip injuries?

Capt Laydon
Absolutley, Dr. Jerman. A physical therapist may suggest a variety of treatments and rehabilitation activities, including exercises for stability, balance, posture, flexibility, coordination, strength, and restoration of range of motion. You may also benefit from hip mobilization, massage, or the application of heat or ice. A physical therapist can design a program specifically for you, based on your injury or condition.
