Straight Leg Raise

Capt Laydon
To do a Straight Leg Raise, lie flat on a bed and hold your injured knee straight.

Flex your foot up, tighten the muscles on top of your thigh, and slowly raise your leg off of the bed approximately four to six inches.

Hold for five seconds, and slowly return to the starting position.

Repeat several times.
