Paternity Leave

If you’re active duty, discuss paternity leave with your supervisor prior to your baby’s birth. You may be allowed up to 10 days of paternity leave. If you’re not active duty, it’s still a good idea to discuss paternity leave with your supervisor.

If paternity leave is available, you’ll want to take advantage of it to bond with your new baby and to help your partner during the first days or weeks after delivery.
