Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program
The goal of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program is to prevent sexual assault, to encourage the reporting of all instances of sexual assault, to protect victims, and to treat victims appropriately.
If you, or someone you know, have been or think you may have been sexually assaulted, you can contact your military base Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, or SARC, for assistance and support. Whether you come forward through restricted or unrestricted channels, the SARC’s immediate priority is to provide care. The SARC and victim advocates are trained first responders who can help you understand the dynamics of sexual assault, put you in touch with other helping agencies, and help you through any investigative and legal processes.
