The initial symptoms were spots, or crustaceans, or other things on my skin.
I had no symptoms. No warning signs that it was actually cancerous.
I have spots not only on my arms, but on my face, my legs.
It was right on my eye.
I had a little mole that’s, you know, on my forehead and it kept bleeding a little bit.
And I’m like, "Oh, it’s just a little pimple."
I noticed my first spot on my face, and I fooled with it for about three or four weeks.
I know I had that open skin for probably two years or more.
Every time I’d wash it, it would start, you know, it would get red and then it started to bleed, and it wouldn’t heal.
It was just a skin spot that was raised up on my eyelid.
And it was low on my neck, and I had never even noticed that it was there.
The first one was on my forearm, and it appeared as just a very light pink bump.
It came and it disappeared.
I didn’t think anything of it.
And then it came back and then it seemed to stick around.
It just continued to stay there.
And the doctor asked me if I’d noticed if there was any change in one particular mole.
The little pimple didn’t look like it was closing up.
The admin called me back. She said that the doctor wanted to talk to me. So, I figured something was up, but I didn’t really know exactly what was going on.
Since it kept bleeding, then my wife said, "Hey, get that checked out."
