Colposcopy

In colposcopy, the provider uses a device called a colposcope to examine your cervix. The colposcope combines some chemicals applied to the cervix with a bright light and a magnifying lens to make the cervix easier to see. A colposcopy is usually conducted in your provider’s office or clinic.
